Last year, I was accepted to give a presentation at a conference in Brussels. But I was the only one going as an independent researcher, and it was going to cost nearly £1,000 for travel, accommodation etc.. so in the end I didn't go.
Indeed we should honour the brave resistance before us...
And will have to look up the last two names you have mentioned.
