You know, for thousands of years, from the dawn of humanity I mean, child-rearing was a communal thing; not a privatised matter with only the parents primarily involved. In South Asian cultures , there is still a much bigger presence and role for family in a bigger sense, to include aunts, uncles cousins, 3 times removed, grandparents, and relatives further removed, who are hardly recognised as relatives under the nuclear family system now prevailing in the West.
This means that there are always spaces and outlets for both the mother and the offspring to go to, be refreshed by, learn from etc...
There is too much intensity and pressure, tha builds up in the nuclear family system.
Anyway, as I am not nearby, find an Auntie or neighbour to go with - I've occasionally gone on my own and that is super -self nurturing.
