One can glean a greater understanding of what they think about the world based on the kinds of entertainments they create and enjoy, much of which seems to consist of endless violent fantasies about power over other beings, or revenge for having engaged in social dominance over them. As long as white men are trapped in this mindset we will continue to see not just different allegories of the slave narrative, but reliving their terror of the eventual, and inevitable, rebellions.
