You are exactly right - I was firmly making plans but then I hit all the beaurocracy of getting a visa . As my parents were born in India that was relabelled 'Pakistan', it is not a simple process. Even finding out where I have to go and which forms to fill in, print, take, be interviewed feels too onerous... Also the yoga centre I hoped to visit wanted me to send the whole fee, before I even have the visa in place... so my plans have sort of stalled for now.

But if I was in Pune I'd love to meet you and your family !

Stay strong - and keep writing. My father passed away in 2019. I have dream about him... and I don't have his thoughts written down anywhere.

Thin of your writing as leaving a legacy for your children, quite apart from everything else that accrues in the form of connections built and clarity created.
