Yesterday I responded to an American woman who explained she had not really identified as Jewish, until the perception of antisemitism she began to see after the Hamas uprising on Oc 7th 20203. And now she is seriously wondering if she is safer moving to Israel, the land bristling with a militarised population, and touted from the beginning of its violent inception, as the refuge for Jewish people.
My response was that by taking up that 'right of return', she is becoming part of the injustice wrought up Palestinians, whose homes and lands were /are being taken over... therefore fuelling the conflict in a causal way.
I think I will share your article as an additional response to her article published yesterday.
