We are more than excited to hail Beyonce or Rihanna for dropping a new album or releasing a cosmetic line, but when it is a black woman, that you personally know, it is a different type of energy — characterized by scorn, envy and the green-eyed monster (jealousy).

Worst of all, this sort of life-limiting jealousy and envy can develop in long-established relationships and in families. I have several sisters, all sadly divorced, who got afflicted by the green-eyed monster simply because I was happy with my life choices and they were not!
