What has American style prosperity achieved but sky high levels of obesity and all manner of associated degenerative diseases? A deeply divided society of haves and have-nots, in which there are rocketing levels of social anomie, alienation, prescription drug addiction and daily school shootings not to mention the highest rates of prison incarceration?

I agree, the Nordic nations’ model of social democracy is far more humane and simply wiser at every level! Raise the standard of living of everyone to a reasonable level, thus reducing suffering. Why did the USA’s elites create a social structure which ensures extremes of wealth and poverty anyway? It’s damn sadistic!

By the way, when you consider the source of wealth of the Trump family, it is not strange that rich Americans don’t talk about the source of their family’s wealth either! They would have to acknowledge the genocidal actions that their ‘settling’ involved.
