What a journey!

All those years in India, I collected hundreds of books and kept sending them to Kabul partially to compensate for a childhood lack of books. When I started learning to read and write, we had only one book in our house, the Muslim sacred book, Quran. Books are cheaper in India than in Europe; that is what I knew after I came to Europe. I was planning to open a library in the basement of our house free of charge for the boys and girls and adults of our neighborhood. I also prepared a syllabus to teach my students after completing my Ph.D. degree and becoming a university lecturer.
