Well there you are, writing about this... I sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the hardships and the non stop oppressions on all sides... My workplaces where I 've been th em only person of colour have been filled with covert forms of white supremacy . Ie the other teachers couldn't stand it if I was faster, more accurate and more popular with the students, and tried to bring accountability for wrongdoing into the department. I hate to think of such psychological abuse becoming physically harmful ...
