We really must stop using the delusional, hubris of Western intellectuals/economists.... a better reflection of reality would be to say the 'over-exploiting, parasitic industrial societies'. The racist paradigm which promoted technology as a symbol of 'development' and civilisational advancement needs to be abandoned forthwith.
