Too true.... the person saying 'all parents are doing their best', needs a sort of reality check - perhaps they should just watch the news - in the Uk in recent weeks, there have been several cases of toddlers being tortured and killed by a partner/parent.

As you so rightly say, minimising the abuse is an additional trauma onto of what the abuse itself . Thank you for giving voice to this perspective.
