Too true.

… on the other side of the world to talk about them publicly, nor can they do anything to change it. We are taught complacency and willful ignorance by the terrifyingly powerful propaganda beast whose belly we reside in as Americans. They condition within us a cognitive dissonance that prevents us from recognizing that all oppression is interconnected, and that we too have the autonomy to stand up against subjugation.
