This is the root of entitlement. In my experience, of this sort of male, they in fact can't see you and your needs, but impose what suits them to beieve is what will please you. So this 'nice' guy started to iron my clothes which i never did, and stick around to offer his help to write letters when I was being harassed in a racist work environment. Then he used his help, as a ticket to try to claim the deposit on the house I'd bought, and of course, he had manouvered me into letting him stay there too - rent free of course.
