This is a spot on truth …. I feel I have similarly prioritised others who acted /were weaker than me, or just got used to playing the victim and having others sort out their problems. … just a handful of such people in one’s life can leave us drained and exhausted…. Nowadays I expect a basic level of reciprocity … and if the person is a taker, I back away quickly !!!
