This is a pithy statement but please- sweeping generalisations are really dangerous and also how true are they?

For example, in all of my extended family, including uncles, aunts cousins etc, never once did I hear a single sentence against Jewish people. Other than them, I cannot vouch for the Ummah, as I never lived in a Muslim country, except for a few months in the UAE but there too, I did not hear anyone at work or elsewhere, condemn Jewish people per se. There seemed to be a bit of an obsession with expatriates who drank alcohol - drinking in public was a big no no, unlike tin he UK!
