This is a beautifully crafted story and naturally it is terrible to think of the loss of life of a 21 year old in your neighbourhood. You do not say how he came to lose his life. Was he an Israeli soldier or was he a bystander when the Israeli-funded Hamas broke out of Gaza, young guys , probably orphaned in the many shootings and incarcerations by Israeli armed personnel?

But as Einstein and many other outstanding Jewish intellectuals such as Chomsky warned, the very formation of Israel, involving the forced expulsion of Palestinians , would result in constant strife and loss of life.

You cannot steal everything a people have, keep on making incursions into their lands for decades, give them daily humiliations, at checkpoints and random attacks, detain thousands of people without charge, keep demolishing homes and ruining livilihoods, and then be shocked and weep that they fight back.
