There was a time not long ago, when I couldn't even imagine how people get to the point of 'no contact' with family of origin... Thank you for sharing that... I think a huge number of people just go through the emotions of pretending to a connection that actually withered long long ago.

The funny thing is by articulating this poem, I am summarising hundreds of instances where there were acts of malice, and many years in which my depressed sisters were low of mood and indeed, morose! SO the alliteration is secondary to the truth of the matter is what I am wanting to confirm.
