There is an American zionist/pro-Israeli - Ben Shapiro who advised one of his fans to write what was needed to please his Left superiors at Uni, in order to eventually get into a position where he could actually say and do what he wanted.

Personally I have rejected that approach of 'going with the flow' - we get monstrosities like Suella Braverman, and Sunak - but sometimes I wonder if accepting to be toned down, would at least give some access. In other words, is some visibility better than next to none?
