Kahlil Gibran said ‘work is love made visible’. But now, there’s tweets so love’s avoided. Photo by Christina @ wocintechchat.com on Unsplash

White woman, too tired to

Keep her promise to meet

But she’s never, ever

Too tired to tweet.

Is it because I have

No to few, followers?

Do I maybe have an infectious

Disease, like Covid or cholera?

Well, I’m not going to, like a sad hippo,

In the mud of her disregard, wallow,

Her silly excuses, I’ll no longer swallow,

I’m not going to tweet, I’m going to bellow,

Bye bye baby, no more hello’s.
