The most effective gaslighting is where the person being maniipulated to doubt their own senses, is not even aware that they are being hoodwinked, and totally betrayed.

The fact is the elites, all across the Western dominated world, have captured the middle classes, as intellectuals, teachers, media workers etc, to befuddle the poorest people into casting to find easy scapegoats for their suffering. The middle classses are the 'professional bewilderers', as Noam Chomsky said, essential to keeping the majority of the population, working for peanuts and desperate for a job, no matter how poorly-paid. How did the world get shaped such that if we don’t exist within the terms dictated and shaped by the capitalist economy, life is to all intents and purposes, not sustainable?
