The main problem with this analysis is the entire focus on the individual, accompanying the total conceptual blindness to the nature of systemic power and political decisions from the higher ups, shaping what people are able to do.
This is very dangerous as it lets them off the hook and the narrative that if you lost your job/can't afford health care/ get sick form polluted water and pesticide laden food, have no decent public transport, it is all your faulting up to you, to adapt to the rich getting richer through the many ways they have rigged up everything.
