The honest truth is that Europe and its offshoots which continue to wage war and loot the world as they have been doing for centuries need to STOP consuming and wasting resources. Degrowth is needed. No technological fixes can manage the level of greed and overconsumption which has in fact been spreading like a cancer since more and more people have got infected with the virus of materialism.

At an existential level, model of so-called development is itself the problem.
