The family unit as monstrously immoral ; yes, as family usually translates into, 'me and mine', so it's basically one's own ego, projected onto the other members with the patriarch as the head of the family... Female family members killed in the name of 'honour', is all about not loving who is outside of the boundaries the patch defines as acceptable.
