The elites with all the power in Israel have always been the Ashkenazis, along with Americans with but a very distant connection to both Judaism and the experience of the Holocaust.

I think it is a deep disservice to Palestinians to avoid the question of why they must pay for the sins of the Europeans' pogroms and German's responsibility for the Holocaust.
