The main point for me is that unlike the Arabic elites, they are not keeping quiet and looking the other way, in order to gain benefits from the Zionists or at least, not draw attacks upon themselves.

And by challenging the entire Zionist enterprise, and declaring that it has nothing to do with Judaism, these Orthodox Jews and secular Jews, are drawing the ire of pro-Israelis, when by their silence, they could garner a lot of benefits.
