Unfortunately my parents were brought up in a totally homogenous world, in which being Muslim was equated with being on the side of righteousness. The sad fact is most of humanity has this proclivity - their 'own' are beyond reproach. The Zionist mindset is just a more extreme version of the average level of 'othering' of those we put beyond those our circle of compassion.
