Thank you so much for sharing some of your experience. I feel it took my decades to unpick h dynamics because nothing is overtly stated... I slowly realised my mother was in competition with my brother 's (white ) wife while my sisters vied with each other to gain his favour. Awful, very demeaning dynamics.
