Thank you for yor thoughtful response… Perhaps the experience of collusion has clouded my reaing of this article… I guess there is somethign to be said for maintining onc’e position in an instituton and try to covertly as and when it’s not too dangerous, do some suppportive things for the people otherwise completely oppressed/excluded. Hard to know when one is beingn strategic and choosing one’s battles, and when one is being compliant mostly in order to secure one’s own position.
