Thank you Christina for your heart-warming words - of which I hope to read more.

I was reading that book (which focuses on the patriarchal conditions for Egyptian women) at the same time as pondering on the words of the great Andrea Dworkin. Her brilliant analysis in 'Right-WIng Women : The Politics of Domesticated Females' is no less relevant about life in the leader of the 'developed' world.

Your words evoked something strong in me, that wanted to encourage you - as women our voices have been suppressed for centuries so we must help each other to resist the devaluing that we daily face.

Sometimes I am standing in my power but honestly, other times I am sitting all soggy in a pool of my tears... The important thing is to get up once again, whatever the set back.
