Thank you so much for writing this beautifully articulated prose/poem/essay. This is writing that asserts our shared humanity and sparks hope and empathy for and between those 'otherized'. I hold onto the hope that as words during our schooling etc, have lead us to delusional states, words can also have the power to shift us out of them so that we can work together for the common good.
