So when the Chinese keep a reserve for their people, you call it 'hoarding' and are very critical but when 'we' do the same thing it is simply part of 'our' analysis on how long that stored grain would last, 'us'.

Such double standards are what feed hatred and violence.

So very disappointing that this article feeds into the longstanding White, Anglo-American narrative of White entitlement of other people's lands, goods, labour and lives. The savage Churchill, who directly caused the deaths of some 3 million people in India, lives on in your blood.

May I also add that using the photo depicting starving Indian men is hardly decent. The author doesn't even give the courtesy of any attribution or explanation, but thinks nothing of using the image of their suffering to drive home his point about imminent suffering.

What about the suffering that continues to be caused caused by the economic sanctions and invasions by America and its sheep-like European allies? Imperial wars, of which the European/Anglo American Empire is the most vicious, in being the most expansionist, and the most dehumanising of those they variously massacred, occupied their lands, and enslaved are not part of this analysis. . All the white immigrants to the USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, and South Africa are continuing to benefit from the policies of their fascistic governments. Putin is a mere baby in comparison.
