This is it. Extinction. It feels like the end of an era because it is. We are inside the Event now. Enlightenment, Age of Empire, Age of Industry, Age of Exinction. But we are still desperately clinging to the past, as if it’s a parachute. It’s not. It’s an anvil, and we’re already in free fall. Now we learn to fly…or.

Rhetorical rot, with such little thought.
There was no 'Enlightenment’, it was the spread of white rule and the queen was not a sweet, little old granny. The author needs to put his thinking hat on and address some serious issues with his cognitive dissonance.
