…I so badly wanted to find unconditional love, that I would have done anything for them, and I have. With a short engagement, and a wedding that wasn’t nearly what I dreamt of as a child, it took less than a month into my second marriage, before the fall of self esteem began. I’d like to say it was his fault, but it was mine. I played the role of the victim well. We were both broken people and I wanted him to love me therefore I was the epitome of foolish.
