Re-evaluaitng the history taught through a white-washed lens, is something that everyone subjected to such curricula eg that written by white historians about the British empire, needs to engage in and re-evaluate... It would be good to know the significance of the date 1619 - was it when the whites arrived , started massacring the Indigenous people who refused to work for them, and set up Jamestown?
