Now that is a very thought-provoking statement... after being subjected to all the crowing about the West being the very same of 'development', being he mot 'advanced', all due to the (life-degrading) technology military hardware, poisonous agricultural practices disease-generating 'medicines', mind-numbing entertainment; you have reminded me of ancient civilisations that sustained themselves for thousands of years, and at their centre were multiple ceremonies, story-telling events throughout every season of the year.

So THAT was the 'primitive' people's focus to forge connections and to build community. In contrast to this labour of love, the self-appointed 'developed ' world has built labours of suffering and manifestations of sheer hate. Is the West not an aberration on the face of the earth, a necrophilic sadistic entity, as it is revealing itself in the expertly guided bombs being dropped on a defenceless people from high up in the air.
