Many thanks for your courtesy and care in responding... I had taken a year out and the one caring person in the department was on a sabbatical - so I wasn't really aware of who my supervisor was when I returned in the Spring term.

I interpreted your article as expressing the moral and intellectual degeneracy at the heart of the Whyte Empire and its institutions of education are at the heart of the research for military superiority and economic manipulation. There are some people of integrity but very few who care about students' wellbeing or are willing to defend them when there are huge abuses of the system.
