Indomitable

I’ve re-posted this before and it is still true to this day. Indigenous peoples we really are indomitable. Our human spirit can’t be extinguished. We’re still here after genocide, violations of human rights, and so on. It’s our spirit that can be heard in our drums, as Choctaw artist Red Eagle once said in his song Song of Survival which I will re-post below for reference “Where you stand is where we are from.” That is the stock we come from and who we are.
