Like yourself, I too have avoided management positions. I agree that it does seem that power corrupts - my. workplaces have been predominantly colleges where managers and staff were mostly female and yes, a heck of a lot of bullying went on, with incompetence disguised...It is beyond ridiculous that you are asked to speak in a higher tone voice/lose your beard/not kiss your wife ... just too ridiculous - words fail me!

Thank you for sharing some of your experiences.... in terms of religion people, though, the spacer in the works is to bring facts into the picture of the claim that the teachings are of divine origin. If divine, they must be true... so to break that a chain of reasoning, is there hope that facts would make a difference? I'd like to think so!
