It's so typical a move to demonise the 'OTHER', while saying not one word about broken treaties and the existential threat one is posing which has provoked the OTHER. In interpersonal relationships with the narcissist/sociopath, this behaviour is called 'baiting'.

Russia's response is exactly what the war-mongering war-profiteering West wanted and they have been hard at work behind the scenes, to dupe Ukraine into seeking the embrace with NATO over the past 20 or so years.

It's a pity Ukraininans didnt take a lesson from the 'support ' offered to the people of Afghanistan, who were fighting the cancer of the Taliban ( an entity created funded and armed by the West to fight Russia). Any connections visible to you?
