It's good to hear how principles and customs are given different interpretations - of course, therein lies the mystery of human nature, how th same thing is responded to in very different ways. In my family, the ways in which men are given authority over women has resulted in sometimes denial sometimes, devaluation of female contributions to the family income and other essentials.
