I'm sure you are familiar with his idea that the one truth we can be sure of is, 'I think therefore I am'. So this was the foundation for the myth of western individualism and denial of how the individual in truth, cannot exist separate from society and society is of course, totally dependent upon the web of connections that link us to the Earth. How the White Empire has ravaged the Earth enslaved millions, massacred millions over the past 5 centuries is derived from this attitude of individual and cultural exceptionalsim that European philosophers unleashed.
