I still wouldn’t excuse these mercenary killers by saying countries have had to 'rely ' on these contractors... actually it's tyrants — including the Western Empire’s governments masquerading as ‘democracies’, who support military regimes they are funding /sending weapons to, who are then seen as putting down their own people. As per the cavalier killing spree by Western nations, what they did directly all across the world, they (invasions, massacres, enslavement, and resource extraction) they now do covertly in order to manage their image illusion of valuing human rights. The truth is, the only thing they value is their right to impose their will wherever they choose to. IN recent times, the experience of whistleblowers such as Katherine Gunn, Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning testify to that reality.
