I take my hat off to you Som Dutt for your calm and mature response . I responded to you in somewhat intemperate tone for which I do apologise.

You see, it's not only my research but my own personal experience in the philosophy/ social anthropology/ law departments of a Western university and the hubris, self deception and sheer doublethink of Western intelligentsia was exposed for the sham that it is.

I am in the middle of writing article focussing on that, but have mentioned my experiences which counter the dominant narrative of the West's self presentation as the bastion of rationality and civilisational values.

Cosmologies of great complexity, couched in metaphorical language, along with explorations of the human condition and its relationship to the natural and the societal existed many many centuries before the Greeks appeared, yet the foundational myths relating to Western Empire and its hegemony, based on military- based brutality present a picture that you repeated of 'rationality' coinciding with the 'ancient' Greeks.
