I really want to break the cycle of hatred that can grow out of a spiral of generalisations, because those with power are indeed so selective about whose voices are allowed to be heard.

There are fascists in every community, fanning the flames of hatred and then there are truth tellers, with an intact moral code who try to close the floodgates of that manufactured hate.

Yes you are right, the issues of violence in working class communities are the result of a violating system that debases those with less power, whatever 'colour' we have, and creates a hierachy of the targeted.
