I read a book form the college library called, 'Just Like a Girl' and it validated all my anger about the double standards in how brother was treated compared to the rest of the sisters/myself. Books are life-changing... I also question why there was nothing about Black, anti-colonial scholars. We were given a white-washed, patriarchal view of what life was and could be.
