I observe there is a degeneration in morals and manners when people are in public and they put their own selfish needs before the common good - the article is about how this individualistic, selfish, narcissistically -inclined persona has infiltrated all communities' including the younger generation of Muslims, to some degree. In the context of my work as a teacher/lecturer, I've seen this sort of manipulative behaviour being used by teenagers to get a pass when they haven't used their time and energy well, and so have failed to produce their essay to a deadline, and I share that example of the opportunistic mindset that has spread.

This is nothing to do with 'Islamophobia' !
