I don't think the frequency of police murders of young unarmed people of colour in the US requires 'nuance' at all. Also rather than mentioning 'IRA bombings' why not talk of STATE violence that has been going on for decades? I'm afraid your bias is showing and it seems to be favouring the powerful, whevever they may be.

Obviously I am not saying th eUK is a perfect society in which violence does not occur! My point is that maybe s they did not have a large enslaved population, and little history of lynchings of black men, th vicious militia mindset is not prevalent, as it clearly is in the US.
