I am in amazement at how well you have put aside your natural emotion and how you have done all this research and are able to write with such articulate precision. It's so sad that your mother could not protect you from such violence, including the violence of being assaulted by your father. No child should witness or experience that. It makes your analytical skills and deep compassion, all the more remarkable. Bravo!
