Hmmm .... well for me, brilliance inspires, rather than blinds... and as there would be no Life without light, I don't really see the sense in how ' light consumes as much as the dark' can be true.

Although you placed a link to your poem on reading mine, (written in response to a prompt, 'My Brilliance' from Diane C. the essence of what I wrote was about maintaining one's integrity and youthful truths and vows in the face of societal pressure; so I don't see the connection between those themes and this, at all.

It's also not really appropriate, (one writer to another) to just drop a link to your work, without actually saying a word about your actual response to what you read. Rather smacks of a tinge of arrogance.
