Hi Maestra Olivia - the facts you outline are some of the reasons why I refused to have a child... if only millions more women would take this stance, the forthcoming shortages of food etc would be less devastating. Too many women are compliant with the patriarchy and seek power and status within its terms , don't you think?

But we have to live in hope -and so what we can, to make a difference. After all, what's the alternative?
